Perspective & Resiliency Checklist

Making Your Health a Priority

The Perspective and Resiliency Checklist will help you identify ways you can create more deposits when life is difficult. It will tell you what you are already doing right (you are making deposits whether you realize it or not). It will also point out places where there is room for growth.

Additional Information

Think of your health as you think of your bank account. There are deposits. There are withdrawals. Exercise, meditation, and eating a balanced diet are all examples of health deposits. Smoking, eating junk food, and being sedentary are all examples of health withdrawals. Certain life events also function as deposits or withdrawals. Getting recognition for a job well done and receiving an unexpected check in the mail are health enhancers, or deposits. Going through divorce and dealing with a loved one’s mental health crisis are stressors, or withdrawals.
