As a leader, you have a responsibility to promote a culture of integrity in your organization. It starts with your own behavior and by showing your employees that ethical conduct is important. Integrity happens when you make it safe for employees to speak up and prevent retaliation against anyone who does.
As a leader, there are four action steps you can follow when you find yourself in a situation that could comprise your integrity, or one of your employees. They are listen and watch, encourage openness and honesty, analyze and take action, and demonstrate fairness and respect. We’ll review each of these actions steps in this course.
