SafetyBytes® Hazardous Chemical Container Labeling
Container labeling can be a very effective method to communicate the physical and health hazards of chemicals used in the workplace. The information on a container label will vary depending on what type of container it is and how it is used. In this SafetyBytes® module, we’ll review the requirements for container labeling of hazardous chemicals.
All containers in the workplace must be labeled. You may use the same label from the supplier or you may label workplace containers with alternatives, such as the National Fire Protection Association or Hazardous Materials Identification System. Whatever is chosen, all workers need to have access to the complete hazard information.
Quick, linear navigation, full video, audible narration.
